The honour celebrates well-run businesses of modest scale that punch above their weight — judged by an independent jury on merit, not on size or budget.
Founders, owners and managing directors of small and medium-sized enterprises across any industry are encouraged to enter. This includes family businesses, owner-operated firms, growing service companies, manufacturers, retailers and B2B providers with a clear track record of performance.
Winners are chosen by an independent jury of business leaders and sector specialists who assess each nomination against ten evaluation areas, including leadership, innovation, market impact, revenue growth and sustainability. Selection is strictly merit-based, with no public voting involved.
