Questions From UK Founders
Everything United Kingdom entrepreneurs need to know before nominating for the 2026 awards.
Any founder, co-founder, owner or senior leader of a business that is headquartered, registered or substantially operating in the United Kingdom can enter. This includes startup founders, SME owners, scale-up leaders, family business heads and social entrepreneurs across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Winners are chosen by an independent jury on merit. There is no public voting. Each nomination is assessed against defined evaluation areas including entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, market impact, revenue growth, business sustainability and scalability.
Nominations and judging are conducted remotely, so United Kingdom entrepreneurs can apply from anywhere. Winners are celebrated at the gala on Saturday 14 November 2026 at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi. Attendance is encouraged for the full experience but is not required to be recognised as a winner.
United Kingdom founders frequently enter Technology, AI, Fintech, Startup of the Year, Women Entrepreneur, Young Entrepreneur and SME Growth categories. You may enter more than one category where your achievements are relevant.
Winners receive a trophy and certificate, a winner profile, global press and social visibility, a digital winner badge, and the opportunity to be recognised on stage at the Dubai gala alongside founders from more than 50 countries.
